DAVIS FABRICS x Salone del Mobile 2025:

we’ve seen the future of design – and it’s already in our collections.

To stay ahead of the trends, you have to be where they are born. That’s why Milan is not just a source of inspiration for us – it’s a benchmark. Bouclé, artisan weaves, lustrous chenilles, and earthy tones – we saw all of them at the most important exhibitions. And all of them are already part of our collections. Because for us, design isn’t a response to trends. It’s their origin.

bouclé – still on trend
Bouclé continues to amaze. In Milan, we saw it in many forms – from subtle textures to bold, three-dimensional “mega-bouclé.” In the Adventure collection, the strong, irregular loop comes in an earthy color palette: beiges, ochres, greys, and greens.

Silencio adds depth – its multi-component yarn gives a layered feel, while colors like powder pink, walnut brown, and yellow butter emphasize the fabric’s artisanal nature. Now or Never is soft and cozy, with a palette full of calm tones: from muted navy to refined ivory.

thick, artisan weaves
Milanese trends prominently featured fabrics with pronounced weaves and handcrafted finishes. COCO perfectly fits this direction – a thick boucle yarn weave, irregular and highly expressive. The palette includes warm caramel tones, muted blues, olive, and clay browns – perfect for spaces where fabric isn’t just an addition but the foundation of the design.

Similarly, Puente – a four-yarn composition with a strong structure and a retro touch. Its light melange and saturated colors – noble brown, muted green, classic graphite – add depth to furniture and bring a pleasant, analog quality to interiors.

structural and three-dimensional outdoor fabrics
This year, outdoor fabrics have transcended mere functionality. In Milan, they appeared as fully-fledged design materials – soft, structured, refined. Our new PICO outdoor collection fits this trend perfectly. Made from olefin – UV, water, and abrasion resistant – yet surprisingly pleasant to the touch. Its surface resembles bouclé – delicate, irregular loops form a warm, inviting texture. PICO comes in a range of light, natural tones: ivory, sandy beige, linen grey, calm green, and sky blue. It looks great outdoors but works just as well in interiors – especially where functionality must go hand-in-hand with aesthetics.

earth tones – nature’s calming influence
Many of this year’s collections in Milan moved away from cool minimalism in favor of warm, nature-rooted hues. Instead of greys – clay, copper, deep olive, terracotta red, wood, sand, and stone shades.

● SAND – inspired by desert landscapes, offers 25 shades – from light sand through warm beiges to deeper earth tones.

● LANDSCAPE and MISTERIO – subtly lustrous fabrics where color interacts with texture. The palette includes honey brown, baby blue, navy, antique pink, and rust.

● MOSSA and WIND – soft, matte, tranquil: pastel olives, dusty blues, stone greys.

● NUBE – inspired by leather, a smooth yet richly colored fabric – offers classic taupe, deep chocolate, and neutral warm greys.

These are colors that don’t overpower but define a space. They serve as both background and highlight.

fabrics that last
Milan didn’t surprise us this year – it confirmed our vision. The future of interiors is simplicity, quality, structure, and nature. All values we’ve built into our collections for years. We design fabrics that not only look good – they simply feel right. For the senses, for the space, for everyday living.

DAVIS collections are designed for beautiful interiors – thoughtful, calm, and timeless.
